Based on a δ18O chronology,rare earth elements(REE) and other typical elements in sediments from core MD06-3047 in the western Philippine Sea were analyzed to constrain the provenances of the sediments and investigate quantitative changes in the Asian eolian input to the study area over the last 700 ka.Among the competing processes that might affect REE compositions,sediment provenance is the most important one.Provenance analysis suggests that the study sediments have two provenance end-members;local volcanic sources are dominant,and eolian dust from the Asian continent has a smaller contribution.During glacial periods,eolian input to the western Philippine Sea was enhanced.In contrast,material supply from local volcanics increased during interglacial periods.Changes in eolian input to the study area were probably related to the strength of the East Asian winter monsoon(EAWM) as well as aridity in the Asian continent on an orbital time scale,and were partly influenced by local control factors on shorter time scales.Therefore,we propose that the present study expands the application of the REE-based method for quantitatively estimating the eolian component from the mid-latitude northern Pacific to the low-latitude western Pacific.Additionally,the study preliminarily confirms the influence of EAWM-transported eolian material on sedimentation in the western Philippine Sea since 700 ka.  相似文献

This paper is to present an efficient approach to enriching the quantification model of human-riverine interactions and its anthropogenic impact by a retrospective study on one of the four most famous historical hydraulic projects in China,the Tuoshan Weir.It was constructed in 833 AD and had trajectories of natural resilience and hydraulic engineering maturity more than thousand years.Extensive historical data and maturation procedure of the hydraulic system were used judiciously to examine the spatial patterns of the long-term water conservancy system with agriculture,urbanization and civilization of Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province,Southeast China.Interaction framework is assessed from historical perspective and the deposition rate(DR)is calculated by analyzing the continuous increase of the Tuoshan Weir height.The results show that the declining DR during the 1180 years guaranteed the beneficial role the Tuoshan Weir played in spite of some negative river responses caused by the increase of sediment deposition and decrease of fresh water-retention capacity.The following up revamped workings and well matured hydraulic system around the Tuoshan Weir also contribute a lot to the designed mission of the weir.We conclude that hydraulic system maturation is very important for the proper function and life span of huge hydraulic projects.  相似文献

玉龙雪山地区大气降水中粉尘颗粒物特征研究   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:3  
以在玉龙雪山地区采集的大气降水样品为主要研究载体,分析了大气降水中粉尘颗粒物随时间的变化特征和影响大气降水中粉尘含量的潜在因素. 结果表明:大气降水中颗粒物浓度和典型粉尘特征化学离子含量的变化具有很好的一致性,且季风期末大气降水中的微粒含量显著升高,显示了明显的季节性变化特征. 丽江市和甘海子盆地大气降水中粉尘化学离子含量(SO42-,Mg2+,Ca2+,K+,NH4+,NO3-,粉尘浓度)之间具有较好的相关性,反映了这些离子共同的来源. 降水中pH值和电导率的变化很大程度上受到粉尘活动的影响,海盐气溶胶粒子对玉龙雪山地区大气降水中典型粉尘微粒(除Cl-和部分Na+之外)的沉降没有贡献. 此外,降水化学和微粒分析表明,丽江市区的大气环境不排除人为活动的影响.  相似文献

Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating for polymlneral fine-grained loess samples, collected in Laoguantai (LGT) section on the south of the Chinese Loess Plateau, was made by application of single-aliquot regenerative-dose (SAR) protocol. A 'Double-SAW procedure in which aliquots are subjected to both infrared (IR) and blue stimulations was used and two sets of equivalent dose (De) determinations were produced and assumed to relate predominantly to feldspathic and quartz fine grain populations respectively, The OSL ages estimated from IRSL signals are smaller than those estimated from [post-IR] OSL signals due to the anomalous fading of feldspar IR signals, based on fading experiment, The young ages of the samples near ground surface may be originated from the post-depositional disturbance by the intensifying humanity's cultivation since 3.0 ka BP in the Guanzhong Basin, south of the Chinese Loess Plateau. Based on OSL dating, as well as field observations and stratigraphic correlation, we determine the chronology of the LGT Ioess-paleosol sequence. In combination with climate proxy records, it is indicated that aeolian loess deposition and pedogenesis underwent polyphase changes during the Holocene, likely to have been driven by shifts in the East Asian monsoon. This suggests that aeolian loess deposition is episodic and highly variable, with contributions from non-aeolian processes such as alluvial deposition found in the area.  相似文献

试验研究了黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土的配合比问题。分析了黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土的强度标准龄期;研究了土质、二灰比、二灰含量对二灰土强度的影响规律;提出了黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土配合比设计的新思路。研究认为,对于黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土,应以21 d无侧限抗压强度作为配合比设计的依据;黄河冲(淤)积平原区土质适宜的二灰比为1:3,适宜的二灰含量在32 %~40 %之间;土中<0.005 mm颗粒含量、土的有机质含量,以及二灰土的粗细颗粒比Cf值对黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土的强度具有重要影响,且呈现规律性变化;当土中<0.005 mm颗粒含量在17 %~27 %之间时,黄河冲(淤)积粉质二灰土可获得较高的强度。  相似文献

基于沙尘数值预报模式针对不同区域地面起沙的敏感性试验结果,分析讨论了蒙古气旋沙尘暴过程中沙尘传输的特点及形成原因。结果表明:蒙古气旋沙尘暴过程的沙尘传输表现为:沙源区纬度越高,沙尘向东传输越强,纬度越低,向南传输越强;同时,高度越高,沙尘向东传输越强,高度越低,向南传输越强。其形成原因是萨彦岭山地背风坡效应、青藏高原东北侧地形强迫绕流等自然地理因素和蒙古气旋的动力、热力结构共同造成的,具有一定程度的普遍性。  相似文献

The flow of glass dust particles in air was investigated experimentally over a flat bed in a wind tunnel. Particle concentrations were measured by light scattering diffusion (LSD) and digital image processing. It was verified that saltation is the main mechanism for ejection of dust particles. Vertical mean dust concentrations for ‘pure dust’ and two mixtures of dust and saltating glass particles were determined and analysed. The experiments confirmed that for the ‘pure dust’ configuration the mean concentration decreases as a power function with height. For the mixture configurations and for free stream velocities close to the threshold velocity, the mean concentration also decreases in a power function. For higher velocities, mean concentration decreases respectively as a power function or exponential function for large and small ratios of the dust:saltating particles respectively. 利用常规的天气图、卫星云图、湿位涡和Q矢量等,对2007年4月30日和2007年5月2日发生在毛乌素沙地的两次沙尘天气进行了综合分析\.结果表明:对流层低层MPV1<0中尺度对流不稳定区的生成,为干对流的发生提供了不稳定能量条件;来自上游对流层中高层的干侵入和扰动干侵入在沙尘天气发生过程中起着重要作用;对流层低层由Q矢量辐散、辐合激发生成的次级环流为沙尘天气发生、发展和维持提供了动力机制。在对毛乌素沙地中β尺度沙尘暴的预报预警过程中,同时应考虑下沉对流有效位能的作用。  相似文献

Understanding how nitrogen (N) availability interacts with soil acidity and phosphorus (P) availability to affect soil-atmosphere exchanges in CO2, CH4 and N2O in forest ecosystems is important for understanding the mechanisms driving ecosystem responses to enhanced N deposition. Here, we conducted an experiment with N, P and acid (H) addition in a mixed forest in subtropical China to investigate how acid and P addition affects CO2, CH4 and N2O exchange under N addition. Our results showed that soil NH4+-N and NO3--N increased after N addition, but CO2 emissions in N addition plots remained unaffected. CH4 uptake in N-, P-, NP-, NH- and NPH-addition plots were reduced by 21.1%, 15.7%, 39.1%, 26.6%, and 28.4%, respectively. CH4 uptake in NP-addition plots were lower compared to N-addition and P-addition plots, indicating that N and P addition had an additive effect on inhibiting CH4 uptake. N2O emission in N-, NP-, NH- and NPH-addition plots increased by 158.6%, 176.0%, 117.2%, and 91.8%, respectively. N2O emissions in NPH-addition plots were lower compared to NP-addition plots while showed no difference between N-addition and NH-addition plots. This suggests that only under P rich conditions, acid addition would greatly mitigate N2O emissions under N addition. Our results demonstrate that for N and P co-limited forest ecosystems with acidic soils, low P availability constrains the inhibition of soil CH4 uptake by N deposition. When P availability is low, a weak soil acidation induced by N deposition may have less influence on the stimulation of N2O emissions by N deposition.  相似文献

In Tasmania, most salts in the landscape originate from rainfall and accumulate in landscapes after evaporation occurs. The distribution and quantity of salt in rainfall from an array of bulk deposition collectors in the Greater Tamar Catchment were assessed for the period September 2013 to August 2014. The bulk deposition samples were analysed for pH, electrical conductivity, major ions (Ca, Mg, Na, SO4 and Cl) and a selection of trace ions. The average salt flux across the study area was 79 ± 10 kg/ha/yr region, ranging from 170 ± 12 kg/ha/yr near the coast in the north to 42 ± 6 kg/ha/yr inland. Deposition of most ions decreased from the northwest to the south and east, and peaked in winter and spring. Geomorphic factors such as elevation and topography have an important effect on the volume of rainfall and flux of salt from windblown dust and oceanic aerosols. A comparison of measured chloride and salt deposition in Tasmania with other Australian atmospheric studies indicates that continental-scale models of salt flux are not appropriate for Tasmania. New models are proposed that take into account the influence of the Southern Ocean, Tasman Sea and topographic variation in the study area. The results provide improved estimates of rainfall-derived salt inputs to catchments in northeast Tasmania and enable more accurate salt budget modelling. Improved understanding of volumes and distribution of salts has implications for the management of soils and infrastructure that degrade as a result of dryland salinity in Tasmania.  相似文献
